Early studies focusing on looking at the book page as a “stage,” as well as using the illusion of depth in illustration to enhance the reading experience. My collage technique juxtaposes architectural and organic elements, photographic and illustrative elements and real perspective with constructed perspective as a way to complement and add new meaning to the text.
