EVOKING SPACE
Thesis study
Expanding on the previous setup of frame, transparency and image, work began with simple shapes of paper cut to mimic planes in space. These shapes were combined, suspended at intervals and lit to evoke the feeling of place and architecture in a dimensional composition. I played with light and “suggested depth” and continued to work with paper: plain white printer paper (because of its connection with the page of the book).
