ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENTS

Thesis study

I introduced more architectural shapes such as arches and ellipses to mimic the earlier studies in printing, but also to evoke openings and windows. Light poured visibly through openings and evoked the feeling of sunlight streaming into a building. Elements that evoked stairs and beams were also brought into compositions. Adjusting the perspective and the structure produced a completely different composition with the same set of elements.
