DEATH OF MARAT
Information Graphics, Book Sculpture, Poster

Info graphics represented through book sculpture. Folds and cuts in book correspond to determined values of ‘old’ and ‘new’ in Jacques-Louis David's painting, “Death of Marat.” Formal use of folds in book sculpture corresponds to Jacques Derrida’s concept of the folds in regards to parergon and ergon (inside and outside). Through the manipulation of book sculpture, the privilege of inside over outside becomes reversed.
